Black & Gold Allure

Description

Black & Gold Allure was sort of a departure for me. I usually work more loosely, but here I let the structure take over — mixing sharp geometry with a more organic background. I started experimenting with black (which I normally don’t do), then some gold splashes, some sage green, not knowing where it would land. But as I kept building it, it started to feel like something refined yet untamed. That tension made me want to keep going, although I felt like it was done and didn’t want to overwork it. I added a spot of dark red right in the middle — and it was done.

The contrast of bold linear forms with sweeping brush textures gives the piece both movement and control. There’s a kind of seductive edge to it, which I like.

With its bold geometry and rich palette of black, gold, sage, and dark red, this piece makes a powerful statement in modern interiors. Perfect for living rooms, home offices, or any space that welcomes refined drama and a touch of the unexpected.
